Step 1: Prepare your canvas
If your mini canvas is new, then remove plastic or it may have a glossy finish then apply acrylic pouring paint, now your canvas is ready.
Step 2: Sketch your scene
Using a pencil to sketch the outline of your moonlight scenery on the canvas. first download this image given below then Start by drawing the horizon line where the sky meets the ground. Then sketch the main elements of your scene, such as trees and moon.
Step 3: Paint the sky
It’s time to colour the sky. Choose the colours that best for your scene, Use Prussian blue, light blue, black & white, first use Prussian blue then use sky blue bland or mix this both colour, then use black colour for darker shade, add some stars to sky look realistic.
Step 4: Add the moon
Now draw round shape for moon in the centre of the canvas, use yellow colour to fill the hole moon, then add orange colour for darker tone and middle tone use yellow colour after use white colour for lighter tone, finally mix orange and black highlight the moon. Be sure to leave some space around the moon, as this will create the effect of the moon illuminating the surroundings.
Step 5: Add final details
Now draw some trees using black acrylic colour, Using a small brush & add highlights to the moon and the elements that are closer to it. This will create the illusion of light shining on them. Use a darker colour to create shadows on the elements that are farther away from the moon. This will create the illusion of depth and dimension.
